Our Story

Our mission is to reach out to the youth, feed the hungry, clothe the poor and homeless, and be of service to our community and all those in need.

When Power Pack Ministries began in 1990 in Williamsburg, Ky. the first focus was to

minister to the folks through radio & I.V. one of the main goals was to assist as many people

as possible to change to their lives & turn their lives over to God. The ministry grew very

rapidly with many lives being changed. Out of this focus grew the ideal that God wanted them

to find a location where many could gather to praise God through scripture, song & prayer &

where everyone was somebody. Since there were no funds to rent a space for the new gathering

Billy Joe & Geneva offered the use of their basement in their home. This space was soon

transformed into a church atmosphere accommodating a hundred or more at several services

each week. Many people of all ages were drawn together each week. The greatest sight was to

see the number of young people that came wanting a move of God in their life. As they become

tired of using drugs & feeling such emptiness. A marvelous spiritual experience began

to unfold right in the midst. They invited homeless folks off the street, drug addicts, and all those

that were oppressed & bound, to come & see what the Lord has done. God used all of their gifts

to help bring holiness & change to those who felt lost & unloved As the weeks passed the Hol,

Spirit was leaving prints all over their flock in miracles & life changes. As the number grew

the steps to build a real church moved quickly from the back burner straight to the front burner.

For the folks at Power Pack Ministries, a very large faith-filled journey began to explore rapidly

as God placed endless challenges at their feet. Once God heard their resounding YES, we are

ready to build, he set them on a path of accomplishment that was truly nothing less than a

miracle. A walk in faith, a trust you Lord all the way. God had already gone before them and

laid out the perfect ground plan for the people to unfold, without any earthly bank account to fa

back on. However at first glance, the plan looked hopeless, how could even a faith-filled group

start building without ready funds? Then we realized we had all the gifts and talents necessary 1

fulfill the promise. Each portion of the church became a reality as the master builder doled out

the building tasks to match the people's talents and gifts. The new Church was dedicated on

January 12, 2002. Folks came from north, south, east, and west to see what miracle-working

the power God had done. God's goodness is always available at Power Pack Ministries for all who

need help in their lives. God has truly proved Himself to be God at Power Pack Ministries.

God's miracle-working power had once again shown up. On June 1, 2009, the church was paid

in FULL We are also a nonprofit organization and are tax-exempt. 501(c)(3).
